Hello, my name is Karen Hatfield and I will be delighted to share a glimpse into my journey with you. Originally from the vibrant city of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs in Illinois, I embarked on a path that would lead me across the country. It was during my time in Elgin, Illinois, that I met my husband, who worked for the airlines, prompting our relocation to Folsom, California.

Inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the medical field, the decision to further my education to include medical prospects was made. I pursued studies in medical transcription, quality assurance, coding, and front office management, among other areas. My academic pursuits were complemented by a focus on business, reflecting my aspiration to one day establish my own venture.

While laying the groundwork for my future business endeavors, I also obtained certification as a nursing assistant, eager to expand my skill set and contribute to the healthcare community. In 1992, my vision came to fruition with the establishment of MedPlus, a medical transcription service that would become a cornerstone of my professional journey.

With over 3 decades of experience in the medical field, I've dedicated my career to ensuring precision and excellence in healthcare documentation. For the past 31 years, I've navigated the complexities of medical transcription and quality assurance, honing my skills and expertise along the way. In pursuit of my passion for teaching and empowering others, I've spent the last 12 years mentoring both US and offshore students to become proficient medical transcriptionists.

Despite my professional success, it was a realization that my most cherished role is that of a devoted spouse and parent. After 35 years of marriage and still raising 3 wonderful children, ages 8, 10, and 12, the courageous decision to prioritize family time over long hours at work was made. It was this desire for a more balanced lifestyle that led me to explore new opportunities outside the traditional healthcare realm.

Finding a whole different world outside the “working world” with my kids was found, being able to participate in the fun things they liked to do, even in school! We had the time now to go on trips like to Disneyland, Legoland in San Diego, and fishing trips. We even all went on a cruise to Mexico. It was a bit cold since it was in December, but we still had a blast!

When they were back in school, though, I found myself with nothing to do since I was not working at all, and that was not working well for me since I was so used to being busy. I knew it was time for me to find a compromise between working and having family time, a little give and take situation.

Driven by a deep-seated commitment to making a meaningful difference in people's lives, I embarked on a new journey into the world of digital marketing. Drawn to the power of email marketing to connect with and serve others, I discovered a profound sense of fulfillment in helping individuals and businesses alike achieve their goals. I also knew in this environment I would find the balance I was searching for between work time and family time.

Today, I stand at the intersection of experience and innovation, leveraging my decades of expertise to turn needs into digital triumphs. With a steadfast dedication to integrity, reliability, and customer satisfaction, my goal here is to guide you on your journey to success.
